About the Event

Obesity is undeniably a health and welfare issue, but there are also ethical implications of what vets and other professionals SHOULD do in the context of a mostly overweight population of pets. What can we do to combat this issue and what are the potential problems we might face?

We would like to invite you to join this ELL to share your perspectives and values. Together we will discuss these questions and explore our responsibilities in tackling pet obesity

Following the previous ELL on the ethics of breeding extreme conformations, join us and our guest speakers Dr. Dan O’Neill as well as Dr. Madeleine Campbell to explore the ethics of pet obesity.
